How long does pure mineral makeup last? How long should I throw it away? 3
I am usually familiar with other bases and make-up, where bacteria accumulate and age after a few months. So I threw it away and bought more. But I have had the Beer Minerals Foundation and Eye Shadow Eye Shadow for over a year and they don't smell or look like anything, in fact they look just like you bought them. Does that mean it's okay to keep using it until it's over? What is the shelf life of pure minerals?

If it's your powder, the company says it won't kill the bacteria and, in theory, you can treat them like worms. However, I will throw it away after 3 years (maximum powder life) just to stay safe. The shelf life of its liquids and creams is similar to other products of consistency.
They have a date on their page, usually 1 year. Bare minerals contain SPF. Even if it works for more than a year, the SPF will expire and will not provide protection from the sun. Mine, which I received last summer, is from late 2008. I don't see any data on i Shadow or eyeliners, which means that only bases contain FPS.
There is some controversy over this ... some people say from the beginning ... bacteria or mildew cannot grow on it ... you should check the material to see if it contains silicone, rice powder ... etc. ... These are some of the ingredients that are on the shelf.
The rest of Weaver's formulas have no expiration date.
